He joined along with Shin and is a four year veteran of the Eastern Battlefront, leader of the Second Platoon. As an all-rounder specializing in suppressive fire, using barrages to halt the enemy's advance and supporting his allies, Raiden and his platoon are positioned in the middle-guard. Having spent three years with Shin prior to joining Spearhead Squadron, Raiden is the closest to Shin out of the all members and his right hand man who is always supporting him. While Shin leads the squadron tactically, Raiden leads emotionally as the big brother of the squadron.
