Dave Nelson personality type is ISFJ, but I have spent the last few hours thinking about it, and I am not sure about that. ISFJ is one of the most popular MBTI types, but it is not unanimous. ISFJ is easy to see as a type because it is strong in every area of the MBTI, but also very consistent across all tests. It is not uncommon to find an ISFJ who has very strong intuition, very strong sensing, and very strong feeling, and a very dry, dry, dry personality.
The thing I am not sure about is whether ISFJ really is the best fit for the type. I think if you are an ISFJ you are probably very introverted, but I have read many descriptions of ISFJ types where they are described as extroverted, and this seems like a contradiction. I think it is a matter of degree. Did you ever hear of people saying that some introverts are extroverts? They are just not as extraverted as ISFJ types. I think we need to keep in mind that the MBTI was originally intended to be used with college freshmen, and that freshmen are very extroverted.
