I used to think that ISTJ was the most boring type to be around, because they always seemed to be so quiet and reserved. I have since learned that they are actually very kind, welcoming, and warm people. They are loyal, reliable and are very happy to serve.
Most of the ISTJ’s I know are happy to serve near and far. They want to contribute to society in any way they can, whether that be by working for the government, doing volunteer work, or giving back to their community. These are all things that the other types are not willing to do. I’ve had several ISTJ’s in my life and they have always been so willing to help me out in any way they can. Not only that, but they always seem to have a very good word to say when it comes to their friends and family. They are also generous and honest people, who will never do something just to get something back from someone else. ISTJ’s want to give as well as receive.
