I think the reason I’m feeling so emotional about this whole situation is because I was so excited to see all these people come together and support the show. It was a real community experience. I’m still actually kind of floored that it happened. I’m very grateful to everyone who went to the event, everyone who talked with me, everyone who took pictures with me, all my fans who wrote me messages, all my friends who talked with me is very, very touching for me. It’s really what I wanted to happen. I didn’t plan to have all this happen, it just happened naturally.
How do you feel about the show? Do you watch it?
It’s really interesting. I don’t watch it because I paint a lot, so my schedule is so full with the art that I don’t have time to watch TV. But with these interviews, it’s so funny to hear my voice on the show. I talk about myself so much, so it’s funny to hear it on the show.
