I am a very loyal ISTJ, and I have a lot of what you describe about being a reliable dependable person. I have a very good, solid sense of who I am and what I do. I have a solid sense of responsibility and loyalty to myself, and I feel strongly about these things, so I don’t want anything to mess up my “normal” or to upset my routine.
But the downside is that ISTJs often have a strong sense of routine and structure. They can get stuck in a rut, and they can get very frustrated when things aren’t going exactly as planned. They might get a lot of criticism from others, because they are so loyal and dependable.
