Dan Kato personality type is ISFJ, and the 3DS has a lot of ISFJ design quirks.
I'm not saying that the 3DS is bad, but it does feel like a cheap clone of the DS. Face-tracking cameras, WiFi, and touch-screen controls are all convenient features that the DS lacked, and they're features that the 3DS has over the DSi XL. I don't own a DSi XL, but I hear that it's got a slightly better battery life and it doesn't have a camera. The 3DS is also great for playing games like "Super Mario 3D Land", which is a perfect sequel to "Super Mario 3D Land". It's like the DS improved with the DSi XL, and it already feels like a lot more than what it costs for (I paid $162 CAD for the 3DS). The 3DS is still not as good as the DSi XL, but it's definitely better than the DSi.
The touchscreen makes using the 3DS a lot better than using a stylus on a DSi. The 3DS is a little heavier than a DSi, but it's still easy to carry around.
