Shino is a boy with tan skin, black hair, and gray eyes. He has a slightly muscular body, and is about 160 cm (5'3") tall. In the manga, this personality change becomes more apparent, caused by Shino's own guilt over causing what happened to his class to happen, and he starts to go home early because of this.
