Earlier in the series Sid was shown to have a petty mind, he even got into a fight with another child for refusing to share his lollipop. He can often be seen riding toy cars, which is what he does after he gets grounded by his mother. When Sid was little, his mother had an affair with his father’s best friend, which led to Sid’s birth. Eventually the two divorced, but they remained very close friends.
Sid’s relationship with his mother was always a complicated one, but they both loved each other very much. His father passed away when Sid was very young, but his mother still loved him very much.
