Heath personality type is INFP, and I am very happy and comfortable with this. I am not sure what the INFP means, but I am glad it is mine, and that I am not a mere extrovert. The introversion part of the type is not as problematic as I originally thought it would be, but it seems to be more of a “respectful” sort of introversion than an “attached to myself” sort of one.
I think that the idea that introversion and extroversion are opposites is a bit silly, and that we can’t really be either or both. I think the idea that we can only be one or the other is a bit limiting, and leads us to think that we must be one or the other. Even if there is a certain kind of “optimal” state for most people, which is probably somewhere inbetween, I think most people are neither extroverted nor introverted, but rather are both. That said, I do think that extroverts are better at some things than introverts are.
There is also the idea that introverts are more intelligent than extroverts, which is also kind of silly.
