I am a combination of both, which seems to be an overwhelming majority of ISTPs. Although I am not as spontaneous as my mother is, I tend to be more logical and analytical than she is. I also share some of the qualities of my father, such as being driven and ambitious.
What is your funniest moment as a parent?
I think it was the first time my daughter saw a dead body. We had a friend who was a forensic pathologist, and she brought a body into our house to show us. My daughter was three at the time, but she was very curious and wanted to see the body. This is something that most children don’t want to see, but my daughter wanted to see it. The body was in a casket, which my daughter thought was really neat. Then my friend opened the casket and she saw the person’s skeleton. We all laughed for a good ten minutes, but within seconds my daughter started to cry. She didn’t understand what she saw, and she just wanted her mommy. She was not able to see the person’s face because the face was covered with a sheet.
