Drake Gardener is an American actor, comedian, film director and film producer. He is best known for his role as Lennie on the Disney Channel series "Lizzie McGuire" from 2003 to 2004, and his recurring role as Steve Urkel on the sitcom "Family Matters".
Gardener was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of actor Drake Bell and TV personality Jana Kramer. He has an older sister named Rayla. Gardener's biological father is actor Jonathan Taylor Thomas. While attending high school, Gardener was one of the founding members of the drama club at his school. His first television role was as a guest star on Disney's "The New Mickey Mouse Club".
Gardener's first film role was in "The Lake House", with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves. He played the character Lennie, the best friend and roommate of Matt Damon's character. He also had a small role in "The Notebook".
Gardener also appeared in the Disney Channel original series "Lizzie McGuire" as Lennie.
