A native of Kansas, I graduated from high school in 2000. I spent the next three years working in the field of Human Resources in the Federal Government, where I became a HR manager with a focus on hiring and management. This was followed by two years working in the field of social work in New York City. I moved to Washington, DC in 2006, where I worked at the U.S. Department of Labor for five years until the economy tanked in 2008. I took another job with the federal government but left when my job required me to relocate to California in 2010. My wife and I have been living in LA for the past three years.
While I have many interests that have nothing to do with writing, I have always wanted to be a writer. I have been writing since I was fourteen years old, when I began my first novel. That book is now being turned into a movie, so I am no longer able to write fiction. However, I have continued to write "non-fiction" articles for various online publications, mostly about dating, relationships, and sexuality.
