In the original series, Robbie was a computer whiz and did a lot of his research online. He also didn’t like to take on a lot of tasks at once or be bothered by details.
He was a good hacker because he was very creative and self-motivated, but he had a difficult time being organized.
Robbie was very depressed after his parent died when he was 10 years old. He was not able to cope with his grief.
Robbie is kind of like an introvert/extravert hybrid, much like my personality type is. Robbie liked to be alone in his room, but he also liked to socialize with others. However, he liked to talk and share what he was thinking and feeling with his close friends, while I can be an introvert in social settings, but I don’t mind talking to people I don’t know well in informal settings.
