When I first came across this particular personality type, I thought it was a contradiction in terms. I even questioned whether ENTPs are even real people or if they were a combination of two or more other personality types.
After all, their thoughts and actions seem completely random and they tend to win arguments with seemingly no effort.
I think the reason why ENTPs get so much flack is that they don’t really have a consistent pattern of behavior. They will do the same thing one day, and the next day they will do something completely different.
That is why I have always believed that someone who fits the ENTP personality type is really more like an INTP.
There is no such thing as a consistent ENTP, and that is one of the things I love most about them.
