Mitama personality type is ISFP, type that I am.
I have to admit it’s been a while since I have played Touhou.
In my younger days I played mostly arcade games, but it wasn’t until I got into the Playstation 2 and started playing online that I really started to get into the game. I started going to Touhou message boards and it was love at first sight.
I won’t go into the whole story of why I stopped playing or when I picked up Mystic Square again. I don’t like to talk about my past much and I just don’t think it’s worth it, so I won’t talk about it.
Mystic Square was in a very bad state for a long time, but it’s finally coming back to life and I am glad to be a part of that.
While I was over at the forums and reading a lot of posts, I kept seeing people asking about the MSTUX Project and how it would work. So I went over to their website and read and was very intrigued. So after talking with them, we came to a agreement and here is where we are today!
The Japanese word mitama refers to the spirit of a kami or the soul of a dead person. It is composed of two characters, the first of which, mi, is a simply an honorific. The second, tama means "spirit". The character pair 神霊, also read mitama, is used exclusively to refer to a kami's spirit. Significantly, the term mitamashiro is a synonym of shintai, the object which in a Shinto shrine houses the enshrined kami. Early Japanese definitions of the mitama, developed later by many thinkers like Motoori Norinaga, maintain it consists of several "souls", relatively independent one from the other. The most developed is the ichirei shikon, a Shinto theory according to which the spirit of both kami and human beings consists of one spirit and four souls. The four souls are the ara-mitama, the nigi-mitama, the saki-mitama and the kushi-mitama.
