We are all very familiar with the ISTP personality, being the type who is rarely seen without his hat, sunglasses, and his trusty umbrella. My first exposure to the ISTP personality was when I attended a seminar for “The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator” at the University of Maryland. It was there that I first learned about ISTP’s. While I am not entirely sure what an ISTP “is,” I do know that it is a personality type that focuses on the outside world, especially on how things are perceived by others.

They are good at making decisions based on the facts and great at creating logical arguments.
