Miyako was born on November 10, 2029, on Tatsumi Island and was raised by her parents and grandparents. She had a best friend named Riko, and was close with her brother and sister, but she did not know that her father was a member of the Celestial Guardians. She lived in Tatsumi until she was fifteen years old.
At age 15, Miyako's family moved to Tokyo where Miyako attended school at the Kitaoji Academy. When she was seventeen years old, she was attacked by an unknown individual who threw a knife at her.
