Bünyamin Karakaş personality type is ENFP, which is one of the 16 Myers-Briggs personality types. Karakaş has been described as the “most charismatic and influential of Turkey’s political leaders.”[14] According to his autobiography, he was a lonely child who had difficulty relating to other people. He had a strong desire not to be a burden on others and an “unrelenting desire to be independent,” which led him to become a street vendor at a young age. He began to feel a sense of “responsibility for those weaker than he” at an early age.
In 1976, as a college student at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the Istanbul Technical University, he was introduced to philosophy by his professor, Nizamettin Akgündüz. He completed the philosophy program at the Istanbul Technical University and earned a degree in theoretical and applied mechanics, graduating in 1981.
Karakaş began his career as a journalist soon after graduating from university. He first worked as a journalist on the Saadet Party’s newspaper, Sabah, and later on the newspaper of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Cumhuriyet.
