Bill Denbrough personality type is ISFP, a personal preference of mine that I have never seen anyone else use. He seems to have a good understanding of himself and his life, but I'm not sure he has a good understanding of the world. In fact, if anything the opposite is true. In this story he sees all these things happening around him and tries to figure them out, but often ends up being more of a hindrance than a help. He works hard to get his hands on some eggs from a nest, but his actions are ultimately what kill off the children in the story. He spends his time trying to figure out how to destroy the demon child, but he ends up just creating a bunch of other problems for himself. He's got the idealistic view of life that I have to admire, but I just can't see why he actually thinks it will work out the way he thinks it will.
The other character I really liked was Ben Hanscom. He's kind of a "loser" character, an introverted geek who's never really had any close friends or anything. But he seems to have this really well developed sense of empathy for kids, even for those who are his enemies.
