Emotionally, he is quite dependent on the emotions of others because he feels so strongly about them. He is so sensitive to being alone that he doesn't really know how to socialize. This is why he is so socially awkward, but also why he has such a deep connection with his friends. He is very good at making friends because he is just so friendly and outgoing. He is also very imaginative, but he can't seem to be creative if his emotions aren't involved. He can be very loyal (he's actually very loyal to Asahina) and he is also loyal to his brother (he's not as loyal to Himekawa).

Asahina is actually very similar to Kaminari in the sense that he doesn't like to socialize much (he's very private), but he can be very helpful if you give him the right motivation.
