13-year-old Marcelo Pesseghini posted on his Facebook page a picture known as the Amityville “Ghost Boy,” allegedly the phantom of a young teenager who was massacred along with his family. Police in Sao Paulo, Brazil, now believes the photograph and story inspired Marcelo to carry out his own rampage, murdering his mother and father, along with his grandmother and a great aunt. “Everything seems to indicate that Marcelo killed his parents and relatives; he had told a friend he wanted to become a hitman. “He always told me he wanted to become a hired killer,” the unidentified friend told police, according to Daily Mail. “He had a plan to kill his parents during the night so that no one would notice and escape in the parents’ car and live in an abandoned place.". He then went to school and returned later and committed suicide. Three of the victims were killed in their beds. The boy’s mother was found shot dead on her knees in the bedroom.
