Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Orejuela (Mariquita, Tolima, August 15, 1943) is a Colombian drug trafficker, co-founder of the Cali Cartel with his brother Gilberto Rodríguez Orejuela. Throughout his criminal life he was known by the name of "El Señor". He had started in the business in the 1970s. His medical record included having organized a drug trafficking society alongside his brother Gilberto, Hélmer Herrera and José Santacruz Londoño.
Captured on August 6, 1995, he was serving a seven-year prison sentence for drug trafficking since August 2004, until at the beginning of 2005, the Colombian government authorized his extradition, along with that of his brother Gilberto, to the United States where he proceeded with the trial for the export of drugs to that country; He was found guilty for money laundering and sentenced to 30 years in prison, but after negotiation the sentence was reduced to seven years, on the condition that he hand over his illegally acquired assets.
