"He was always very self-contained," Keith said. "It wasn't until his high school years that he started opening up a little, but I think it was also because he was learning how to express himself more."
He became more comfortable with himself and the others around him, Keith said.
"He had a lot of basic questions. He wanted to know if there was a God, why stuff happened and what the purpose of life was," he said.
