Westley Allan Dodd personality type is ISTP, which also happens to be my personal type. It doesn't have to be. There are many other types. But ISTP is the type I'm most comfortable with.
I'm an ISTP... and I'm a big proponent of nudging other geeks towards the ISTP side of the ISTP/INTP spectrum. In particular, I have a soft spot for the ISTPs that can be found in The Escapist, a website that focuses on geek culture, video games, and video game journalism.
So what is an ISTP?
The ISTP personality type is one of the 16 Myers-Briggs types. The Myers-Briggs (MBTI) personality system measures personality based on four dichotomies: introversion-extraversion (I), sensing-intuition (S), thinking-feeling (T), and perceiving-judging (P).
How does this relate to the Myers-Briggs Myers-Briggs (MBTI) personality type?
I'm not going to get into the differences between the 16 MBTI types. If you're interested, check out my article on MBTI types.
