Rathi (Japanese レイア) is Cheval's Monstie that appears in the game and anime. She serves as a parallel to the Player Character's main Monstie, Ratha.
She displays her kind's violent behavior under Cheval's command. Nonetheless, like Ratha, Rathi is extremely loyal and caring to her Rider. Despite that, she has shown to defy Cheval when its for his sake. Her loyalty did not falter even after being abandoned by Cheval, as she immediately came to her Rider's rescue from Versa Pietru.
It is unknown where and how Cheval obtained Rathi. She first appears when Cheval saves the Player Character from a Barroth EX and has stayed by Cheval's side throughout the game.
Rathi looks like her main game counterpart except smaller. In the anime, she loses a part of her right wing claws. In the second season, after going through the Rite of Channeling with a Barioth she gains light blue tints.
