Marion Phauna personality type is INFP, while Tereza's "natural" personality type is ENFP. It is more obvious in her character development. Not only does she seem to be more independent, but she has a different way of thinking, and the way she speaks is different too! Her introverted feeling (Fe) is usually the last trait to come out, but in this case it's the first. Despite her attitude change, she still has that kind of edge about her that is hard to explain. I think it's because of her introverted feeling, combined with her extraverted thinking (Te) and intuition (Ni).
I don't think there's any way I can explain what's going on in her head. Who knows what goes on in the minds of INFPs? She seems to be very open about her feelings, though, so I can't imagine she's hiding anything. Maybe it's just me who doesn't get it. I'll just have to take it at face value.
Again, I am not trying to compare Marion Phauna with Tereza—there is no point. They are completely different people.
