Mikihisa Asakura personality type is ISTP, type of a person who is a creative thinker and a dreamer. He is a man who is slow to anger but also a man who is quick to action. He has a strong sense of justice which he will not hesitate to act upon. He is also a man who has great respect for the law, even if it conflicts with his own desires.
He is not an opportunist which is illustrated in his actions when he took on the role of the new leader of the "Red Dragon" when the previous leader resigns. This resigning was purely due to the fact that Mikihisa Asakura is even more violent than the previous leader, so much so that he openly admitted this fact during an interview.
Although he is slow to anger, he is also quick to action. He refuses to take the easy route in anything he does which causes him to act with violence when he wants results. This can be seen in his fight with Ryoma Echizen when he came to the school to track down Ryoma's father, which resulted in several students getting injured, students getting their school suspended, and even people getting killed.
