Jeremy King personality type is ISTP, he is very much a realist, but is also very accepting of the idea of the supernatural. He doesn't believe in what he cannot see or touch. He is very much a realist who will tell you what he sees, but if it is not there, he will not believe what he sees.
As he relates his personal beliefs to the characters in the story, he gives them a reason for their beliefs. For example, in "A Werewolf Story" there is the character of Annie. Annie is a young girl who believes she is a werewolf. She has accepted this as a reality and thinks it is normal. This is due to being raised by her stepfather who has shown her many movies about werewolves.
King shows that Annie's real problem is not her belief that she is a werewolf, but that she now feels that she has to prove herself as something she is not to people who are scared of her. He goes on to show that she has to accept herself as being human, showing that she can be normal and still be a werewolf.
Jeremy King is an American historian, Professor of History at Mount Holyoke. He was research fellow at Harvard University, Berlin Prize Fellow, from the American Academy in Berlin, and 2004–2005 Research Fellow of the American Council of Learned Societies.
