In reality, INTPs often have no clue as to what is going on in the lives of those around them as they are often busy solving their own problems. They may not be seen as overly friendly or approachable, but they are very friendly and engaging, and they can be very good at helping others with their problems. They may be seen as a bit aloof because they tend to see a lot of things from a logical perspective and can be very hard to understand or relate to. They can certainly be too smart for their own good because they have a difficult time seeing the world from someone else’s perspective. In reality, INTPs are often very caring people who just tend to have a difficult time expressing it.
