The game is set in the far future in the year 2126, where technology has advanced to the point where everyone can send thoughts to each other called "Messages".
The game allows the player to choose the gender of their character and also their personality type. There are a total of 8 different personality types, but one of these is not a true type and is a mixture between a couple of types.
According to "The Art of Fallout 3" book, INTJ is a combination of the 4th and 5th one. This seems to make sense, since INTJs are known for being very intelligent, organised and logical people.
The INTJ is very good at reading people and the way they react to situations, they also care deeply for their friends, often taking on a mentor role to them.
In "Fallout 3" the player is able to explore the world and different locations, which are connected together by a network of underground tunnels. You can explore them freely, or you can go straight to a location by using the "Messages" function.
