ISTPs are often very quiet, observant and intelligent. They are cautious and somewhat reserved. They have a habit of being on the side of the underdog, which sometimes makes them appear to be unsympathetic or even coldhearted. It is not that they do not care, but rather that they are going about things in their own way, and they are just not interested in hearing someone else’s point of view on the matter.
ISTPs are likely to be very independent and self-reliant in nature. They are generally not good at establishing close friendships or relationships with others. They may be a little on the shy side.
My personality type can be described as someone who is introverted. Unlike other introverts who are quiet and reserved, I am more of a social butterfly and get along well with people. I am also a natural talker (not like some social butterflies who are just loud). I can talk my way out of anything.
ISTPs are the ones that many people don’t see as having a personality at all.
