EIE-2Ni personality type is INFJ, ENFJ, or ISFJ. I don't see any of these as types that would be considered low-functioning, but I can understand why you would think that.
I'm not sure how you arrived at the conclusion that the MBTI doesn't adequately describe the 16 personality types, but if you haven't read up on it, you might want to look into the 4-letter type codes and the MBTI-code lists to see if there's any overlap between those and 16 types. I've found that 4-letter type codes and MBTI-code lists were sufficient to describe my 16 personality types, and those lists provide a lot of additional information that's useful for understanding those types.
But the MBTI doesn't tell you everything about a person. There are a lot of other things that could be said to describe a person or a group of people. You can't just "read" a person's personality from a one-question test. If you really want to understand a person, you have to look at a lot of different things – not just the MBTI tests – to get a picture of what that person is like.
