ILI-Te personality type is INTJ, INTP, INTP, INTJ, INTP. In all of the above cases, the best fit matches are INTJ.
We can begin to see that the type-name does not fit the description of the type in a given case. In a suitably large sample of a large number of cases, there is a good chance that at least one of the type-names in the sample will have a better fit with the description of the type in the case than any of the type-names in the sample.
In this series of posts, I will use the term "type-name" to refer to any type-name that has been assigned to a type for which there is no good fit with the description of that type. The type-names in the sample that have been assigned to types for which there is a good fit with the description of that type will be referred to as "good type-names".
