Brauner personality type is INTJ, so I'm going to assume that's the one you're talking about.
I have a bit of a different view of it. INTJ is a very rational and considered type, whereas INTJs are a little bit more troubled by the rational world. I see them as being quite open-minded, but also very logical and scientific. This is part of the reason I'm not a big fan of the type. They're very logical and scientific, but they can be very cold and egocentric at times, which makes it hard to relate to them. For example, the movie "The Matrix" is a good example of this. My theory is that ENTPs are much more open-minded and accepting of things not matching up to their expectations, which is why they tend to fit in better with the real world.
When I was younger I thought a lot about this. I guess from what I've been able to see from the internet, INTJ's are actually quite rare for men. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it probably isn't as cold as it seems from the outside.
