I have a great life, and I'm not going to let one little thing like money get in the way of that.
So how did we do it?
First, we didn't buy a house.
I love houses. I would love to have a big beautiful house with a pool and a fireplace and a yard and a dog and kids running around outside playing.
But the truth is, my life is not in the suburbs, my kids' lives are not in the suburbs, and my husband's job is far away from us.
So what if we had bought a house? We would have had to leave our jobs and move somewhere else.
