Miyako has always been interested in animation, but she also wanted to be an animator for the community.
She started drawing on her own when she was in middle school. She had not taken any classes on it, but she began studying animation on her own, taking the basics of it from her older brothers.
Miyako's father is also an animator, so he often showed her his work, and she would look at them and say “I want to be like my dad one day.” She would continue to draw her favorite characters.
