So ISTJ types are always looking for ways to help others. They want to see justice done and they want to be able to help solve problems for other people. They can get very annoyed when they feel like they’re not being able to help someone and they’re stuck in a rut. They really want to know why someone isn’t doing what’s right, and they feel like they need to fight for the underdog. When they do, it can be really awesome to watch.
But on the other side, ISTJs are the most “closeted” of all the types. They’re more likely to keep their feelings bottled up, because they don’t want to hurt the people they care about or get them into trouble. So sometimes, even though they are trying to help, they end up hurting people. They are very emotional people, though, and it’s not always obvious when they’re struggling with their emotions.
So what do ISTJs want? They want to help people, but the way that they do it is different from other types.
