Deep Thought personality type is INTJ, but generally I’ve found that most writers of these sorts of books are INTJs, or at the very least, strongly attracted to the dominant function. As I said, I am an INTJ, and I’ve seen this trend with many of my own friends and acquaintances, so it makes sense.
For a long time, I’d heard about how much writers loved the Thinker personality type, and I honestly never thought much of it. I mean, I’d met a few people in real life who seemed really in-touch with their intuition and their intellect, but I just didn’t know if that was something that was just about the writers in their tribe.
But when I thought about it, it did seem to ring true. I do have a lot of INTJ friends, and they’re all very much into the non-traditional ways of going about solving problems. They’re very logical, but they’re also very strategic, and they’re always plotting things out. They’re often very good at solving puzzles.
