Bill Kessler personality type is ESFJ, and he is a lot like how the SJs are portrayed in the book. He’s the caretaker of a family, but he can’t even do that as well as he should. He has a lot of shortcomings and is somewhat of a doormat for his wife and children. He has a guy that he trusts, and that’s his best friend. He believes in the power of friendship, but he doesn’t have enough of it. He was raised by his father and that’s the way he is. He’s devoted to his family and wants to do what’s best for them, and he doesn’t have enough friends in his life to support him.
Although he’s not a particularly strong person, he is a very reliable person. He cares about people, so he’s a good listener. He doesn’t want to make trouble in his own life, but he will do what he can to help others. It’s really interesting how we relate to these characters. This book really made me think about how we all relate to people of different strengths and weaknesses.
