Gunnar Tonnisson personality type is ISFJ, the Idealist, and I’m a big fan of his. I even bought a book on how to be a good ISFJ! So I wanted to do a whole post about his type, but I didn’t want to do a whole book post – mainly because he doesn’t have a whole lot of character development in the film, though there is some.
ISFJ’s are such great people to be around. They care for others and value those close to them. They sometimes don’t feel it’s their place to voice their opinion. They want to speak up but feel like they shouldn’t. They appreciate what they have and want to help others who may not have as much as they do. They don’t take things for granted and want to help others in any way they can.
Gunnar Tonnisson is a father and he cares so much about his daughter. He pursues justice and tries to make sure that those who do wrong are punished. He is gentle and patient with people that he interacts with (like his wife). He is quiet and doesn’t like to be the center of attention.
