Kyler Mallory personality type is ISFJ, and that's why he's acting like a complete child. He's a goober, and he knows it, so he's trying to make himself seem cooler than he is. He's also making himself out to be an expert on all things Zelda, which just isn't true.
Mallory is just a guy who wanted to be cool and learned a couple of things from pop culture, coupled with trying to be ironic and funny. He doesn't know he's being ironic or funny. It's just how he's acting.
