When he was still young, his mother died and he has been alone ever since. The other person who was close to him was his father, but he had passed away as well. He was so devastated by the death of his parents that he ran away from home and changed his name, going by the name of "Kao.”
Kao is a big fan of cats and has a special bond with them. However, because of his tragic past, he is afraid of them. One day, a stray cat appears in front of him and then suddenly disappears. It is later revealed that the cat's appearance was caused by a ghost. Kao is shocked to see a ghost in front of him and runs away. In the end, the ghost reveals that it was actually a cat using a magic trick. Kao is happy to hear this and decides to leave to go find a cat to take care of.
