On the other hand, I think that the “is it a Korean author?” question is a bit silly. I mean, if it’s not Korean, then the author isn’t Korean. And it’s not like people will stop reading because of that; I’m sure there are plenty of non-Korean authors who are still read. But I guess if you like reading Korean authors, then you like reading Korean authors. I’m a little bit of a hypocrite about this because I also read a lot of non-Korean authors, so I guess you can classify me as a non-Korean author.
I have a lot of favorite authors, but you can probably tell from my rating system that most of them are from my home country. I usually don’t have a problem with rating two books the same way.
