When she was in middle school, Gaeul's father was injured in an accident, after that she left for Korea to care for him.
After her father recovered from his injury, Gaeul returned to America to go to high school. Then she enrolled in a university in Korea. Gaeul's father told her to keep in touch with him but she said she didn't want to see him again after they started arguing.
