The Shikinami was built in 1969 as an experimental ballistic missile submarine. It was later converted to a diesel-electric attack submarine, and in 1968 it was assigned to the First Attack Squadron. The Shikinami was decommissioned in 1982, but was recommissioned as a training submarine in 1986. It was sold to a Japanese private owner in September 1988 and subsequently scrapped.
The name is a reference to the Shikinami (Shiki-nami). The name means “Shiki’s ship,” and is also written as “Shiki-nami.
Melt is a supporting character in Oshi no Ko. He is a model and actor. He plays the main character in "Sweet Today" adaptation and is in the main group in "Tokyo Blade" 2.5D stage play.
