Leo / Zyuoh Lion personality type is ESTP, and the voice actor for Leo is Tetsuya Kakihara, who also voices Zyuoh Lion in GX. The voice actor for the opening theme is Daisuke Namikawa, who also voiced the Leo character in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.
When Leo was first introduced, he had a special voice. When Leo was sent to the Battle Box, his voice was modified to match that of other Leo cards. His voice in the Japanese version of the anime is different from the original Leo card, and can be heard when he is summoned in the game.
In the anime, Leo has a habit of making random statements, such as "Go catch a big fish!" or "Cook some meat!" and "I'll show you how to become famous!" There are also times were Leo will randomly yell "Hurray!" which is directly said to be an homage to the original Leo card.
Leo was featured in a chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force, called "The Duelist's Choice". During the Dueling Club, a new card has appeared called "Leo", and it is unknown what exactly its origins are.
