Rather, they need to be alone to work through their problems and come up with a solution.
ISTP's are often very calm and collected, but can also be very serious and focused when they are working on a project or problem. They prefer practical knowledge rather than theory and they like to keep their options open so they can switch between different projects as they see fit.
