Deema (デーモ, Dēma?) is a young girl who looks like a teenager. Deema is in love with Shuichiro Akane, but Akane does not return her feelings. After Shuichiro's mother dies, Deema tries to be his girlfriend, but Shuichiro rejects her. Later, Shuichiro falls in love with one of his students, Kana Shirachi, who is Deema's friend. Shuichiro eventually comes to realize that Deema loves him and asks her out on a date; she accepts. Before Shuichiro can ask her to marry him, Deema falls off the school roof while saving him from the bullies. Shuichiro's father believes Deema chose to jump and so he blames Shuichiro for her death. He then disowns him and leaves him with his mother.
