She would come over to my place and paint landscapes or still life pictures. She would also make me read books or articles about art or Shakespeare. She was very talented and clearly had the talent, but she got very frustrated when she wasn't able to get her work published or sell it in an art gallery. I remember one day she said something like, "I hate it when I can't get something done."
She is a very smart person, but she was also very naive and had a hard time learning facts in school. I think this is why she has had such a hard time in the real world.
