Man-Child personality type is ENFP, Tertiary (the tertiary type is really rare, so rare that you are more likely to find it in a fictional character than in a real person)
The tertiary type of ENFP was described by David Keirsey as one who “seems to be constantly on the verge of becoming an adult.” The main issue with this type is that they have trouble “growing up,” or internalizing the fact that they are an adult. They envision their future as still being that of a child, and therefore reject the concept of adulthood, both emotionally and in terms of their career and social choices.
Keirsey believed that those with the Man-Child personality type tend to be more troubled than the other types by the expectations of others and the fear of facing responsibilities. They have trouble handling external pressures, and often have relationships with others that are somewhat superficial. They do not have a firm grip on their own emotions, which can make them seem immature at times.
Man-Child personality types tend to be idealistic and imaginative, but have trouble with the practical aspects of life and work.
